This role is focused on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial and e-commerce-related data used to generate high-value business insights.
You will be responsible for cleaning, validating, and structuring large volumes of transactional and receipt-level data using proprietary tools and data workflows.
The position plays a key role in transforming raw inputs into structured, decision-ready financial intelligence that supports global clients and internal analytics teams.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and data teams across international locations, contributing to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
A strong emphasis is placed on precision, pattern recognition, and identifying anomalies in financial and vendor datasets.
This is a detail-oriented role where your work directly impacts the quality of insights delivered to enterprise and investment clients.

- Perform data extraction, cleaning, labeling, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and transactional datasets.
- Analyze merchant and vendor data trends, including categorization, classification, and identification of irregularities or anomalies.
- Investigate data inconsistencies such as unexpected spikes or drops in transaction volumes and ensure dataset stability.
- Work with proprietary platforms and internal tools to process and refine large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with global engineering, analytics, and operations teams to maintain data quality and consistency across systems.
- Respond to internal and external data-related queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with data security, confidentiality, and internal quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or QA-related roles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data cleaning, tagging, or regex-based processing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Excel; SQL or Python is a plus for data handling and analysis.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial data classification is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks (QBO), SAP, or similar tools is preferred.
- Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks with consistency and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across global, remote teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple parallel workflows.
