Armed School Security Officer – Tallahassee, FL – 7+ Years Law Enforcement Required in Crawfordville, Florida at Dynamic Integrated Security Inc

Dynamic Integrated Security is hiring an Armed School Security Officer to support school safety in Tallahassee, FL. This position is ideal for a highly qualified professional with more than 7 years of law enforcement experience and the required armed security licenses.

The selected candidate will receive paid training at the Sheriff’s Training Academy in Jacksonville.

Training Details
Start Date: July 2026
Duration: 5.5 weeks
Status: Paid Training

Compensation
$15.00 per hour during academy training
$22.00 per hour upon successful graduation
$24.00 per hour after completion of the 90-day probation period

Key Responsibilities
Enforce security procedures and school safety protocols
Respond to emergencies and critical incidents
Help prevent conflicts and maintain a safe environment
Conduct drills and support training exercises
Complete incident reports and required documentation
Build professional, respectful relationships with staff and students

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
More than 7 years of experience in law enforcement
Experience in military, corrections, security, or emergency response preferred, but law enforcement experience is the priority
Strong firearms skills and tactical training
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods

Required Licenses and Certifications
Valid Florida D License
Valid Florida G License
Valid CCW license
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Requirements
Must pass drug screening in accordance with s. 112.0455
Must pass psychological evaluation under Chapter 490
Must pass background screening
Must own personal firearm, duty belt, Level 3 retention holster, and 5 magazines
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be available to work on-site full-time, 8-hour shifts
