At Paragon Micro, we're redefining how organizations adopt, scale, and secure technology. As one of the fastest-growing IT solution providers in the United States, we partner with industry leaders including Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, HP, Google, Lenovo, and more than 4,000 technology manufacturers to deliver transformative solutions for our clients.

Our success is built on exceptional people who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping customers solve complex business challenges through technology.

The Opportunity

Paragon Micro is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology implementations and professional services engagements for enterprise and mid-market clients across North America.

This role is ideal for a project management professional who excels at building relationships, navigating challenging conversations, managing risk, and driving accountability across customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams.

You won't simply manage project plans—you will serve as the trusted advisor responsible for ensuring successful outcomes, maintaining executive-level communication, and delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Lead Strategic Customer Engagements

  • Manage multiple concurrent IT services projects across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, collaboration, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, stakeholder meetings, executive reviews, and project governance activities
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders while maintaining accountability for project objectives and timelines

Drive Project Excellence

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables
  • Monitor project health, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies before issues impact delivery
  • Manage project scope, change requests, dependencies, and escalation paths
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to customer expectations

Champion Communication & Accountability

  • Deliver clear, concise, and proactive communication to customers, leadership, technical teams, and partners
  • Facilitate discussions that drive decisions, remove roadblocks, and maintain project momentum
  • Confidently navigate difficult conversations and appropriately challenge assumptions when project success is at risk
  • Create and maintain thorough project documentation, status reporting, meeting notes, and risk registers

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner closely with sales, engineering, architecture, procurement, and services delivery teams
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure seamless project execution
  • Foster alignment among stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer satisfaction

What Success Looks Like

The most successful individuals in this role are:

  • Exceptional communicators who build trust quickly with customers and internal teams
  • Natural relationship builders who enjoy engaging with people and leading discussions
  • Strong risk managers who proactively identify and address potential challenges
  • Organized professionals who maintain meticulous project documentation and governance
  • Confident leaders who can influence outcomes, establish accountability, and respectfully push back when necessary
  • Storytellers who can communicate complex project information in a way that resonates with technical and non-technical audiences alike
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Active PMP Certification
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT services delivery engagements
  • Proven success managing multiple concurrent customer-facing projects
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, change control, and project financial management
  • Experience working directly with executive stakeholders, customers, technical teams, and sales organizations
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience utilizing project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Managed Service Provider (MSP), Systems Integrator, Technology Consulting Firm, or Professional Services organization
  • Experience leading cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, or digital transformation projects
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Agile or Scrum Certification
  • Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $100,000
  • Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 organizations
