Reports To: Maintenance Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: Grade 1
Starting Wage: $12.62 - $15.77
Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming License required

Position Summary:
The Seasonal Maintenance Groundskeeper is responsible for carrying out assignments given by the Maintenance Groundskeeper Supervisor and/or the Maintenance Manager to properly maintain the outdoor areas of the facility.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Groundskeeper is responsible for the following duties:
- Empty outdoor trash receptacles.
- Clean sidewalks of sand/salt/debris.
- Ensure all walkways are free of sand/salt/debris.
- Lawn care – mowing, weed whacking, raking, etc.
- Keep parking lots clear of debris.
- Paint curbs, walkway striping, handicap signage

Qualifications – Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Small machinery operation experience.
- Experience with lawn care and equipment.
- Ability to operate chainsaw.
Work Environment:
The Maintenance Groundskeeper will work in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor setting where good overall physical and mental health is required.
Physical Demands:
Job-specific abilities and requirements include:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver and work safely in tight spaces.
- Ability to operate hand/power tools for extended periods of time.
- Ability to crouch, crawl, or kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to climb and work safely on ladders/scaffolding.
- Ability to safely haul/carry furniture or other large items.
- Ability to tolerate various scents, noises, and bright lights.
