Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily tasks and assignments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Perform all duties at the highest skill level within the department.

  • Provide guidance, motivation, and teamwork support to department staff.

  • Utilize company systems (e.g., M2M / ERP software) to run open order reports, manage work orders, and support scheduling.

  • Ensure all workstations or cells are loaded with tasks and materials in alignment with production goals.

  • Monitor production metrics, address inefficiencies, and assist in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Promote a safe and productive work environment by enforcing safety standards and best practices.

  • Assist with training, troubleshooting, and maintaining team compliance with company procedures.

  • Communicate clearly and consistently with other departments such as Planning, Quality, and Maintenance to maintain workflow and resolve issues.

Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of the department’s operations, tools, and safety protocols.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience in guiding or mentoring team members.

  • Proficiency in using ERP or production tracking systems (e.g., M2M).

  • Ability to operate a laptop and generate/report on open orders.
