Position Overview

We are seeking a senior Project Manager to oversee facilities and real estate-related projects supporting a federal customer.

The Project Manager will provide project planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder coordination, performance monitoring, and reporting across multiple facilities-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent facilities, real estate, relocation, build-out, reconfiguration, and space management projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate project activities among government personnel, GSA representatives, occupancy agreement stakeholders, landlords, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Support planning and execution of office relocations, space consolidations, portfolio optimization initiatives, and facility reconfiguration projects.
  • Coordinate project requirements and ensure deliverables meet Government expectations and contractual requirements.
  • Support development and review of Program of Requirements (PORs), relocation plans, business cases, project documentation, and executive briefings.
  • Track project budgets, ROM estimates, project expenditures, and performance measures.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, executive briefings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support occupancy planning, space utilization initiatives, and coordination of occupancy agreements.
  • Identify issues, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective-action plans to maintain project success.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, schedules, trackers, and reporting systems.
  • Lead transition planning, implementation activities, and organizational change efforts.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and oversight to project team members and subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Active PMP Certification OR Active FAC-COR Level II (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing facilities, real estate, construction, relocation, space planning, infrastructure, or federal facility-related projects.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and government organizations.
  • Strong project scheduling, budget management, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Experience preparing executive-level communications, project briefings, and status reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced federal environment supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.

Northern Virginia — Springfield, VA / Alexandria, VA.
