Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

Job Details:

• Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time

• Job Location: Brownsville

• Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 (can vary depending on projects, assignments and other tasks)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve BI auto claims

• Interpret medical reports, review medical billing, assess claim value

• Adjust reserves adequately on all new and existing claims

• Assess comparative negligence

• Corresponds with attorneys, insured’s, and agents

• Maintain effective diary system for appropriate claim management

• Protect liens

• Involve SIU when warranted

• Works under limited supervision

• Handle claims in a timely manner and in accordance with Texas compliance rules
