  • Collaborate proactively with engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders, providing visibility into project progress, technical risks, and trade-offs.

  • Balance development speed with quality and reliability, helping the team meet business objectives while protecting production systems from downtime.

  • Use browser debugging, monitoring, metrics, and testing tools to identify and resolve issues across different browsers and environments.

  • Participate in operational support and contribute to diagnosing and resolving production issues alongside the engineering team.

  • Navigate and contribute to a large codebase while debugging existing implementations and improving code quality.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback that helps strengthen engineering standards across the team.

  • Contribute to team culture through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and professional growth activities.

  • Take ownership of continuous development by seeking feedback and actively improving technical and communication skills.

Requirements
  • Previous professional, internship, or equivalent hands-on experience building and shipping web applications.

  • Experience with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.

  • Experience working with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

  • Ability to take a simple technical or business problem and translate it into a solution spanning multiple software components.

  • Strong foundation in writing clear, understandable, well-tested, and extensible code.

  • Comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging existing code, and participating effectively in code reviews.

  • Understanding of frontend reliability, performance, accessibility, testing, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to investigate issues using debugging tools, monitoring, and performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated ownership of professional and technical growth, including proactively seeking feedback from managers, teammates, and stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams.

  • Curious, collaborative, and proactive approach to software development.

  • Ability to balance technical quality with delivery timelines and business priorities.

  • Candidates must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.

Benefits
  • Base salary range of CA$101,000–CA$151,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and job-related skills.

  • Equity opportunities as part of the overall compensation package.

  • 100% employer-paid health coverage for employees and their dependents, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Monthly spending stipends supporting technology needs and health and wellness expenses.

  • Flexible time off and generous holiday calendars.

  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing eligible employees to purchase company stock at a discount.

  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility to work from almost anywhere within Canada.

  • In-person onboarding experience for new hires.
