CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support enterprise applications.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build and integrate Azure Functions, Azure Services, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Monitoring.
• Implement API integrations, OAuth 2.0 authentication, HTTP clients, and error handling.
• Perform systems analysis, troubleshooting, unit testing, and debugging.
• Create technical specifications, documentation, test plans, and project estimates.
• Collaborate with developers, technology teams, business partners, and vendors.
• Coordinate development activities and provide technical guidance to junior resources.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate degree + 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years application development experience.
• Strong Java, OOP, data structures, concurrency, Spring Boot, REST APIs, build automation, and unit testing.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure development experience.
• Experience with API integration, OAuth 2.0, HTTP clients, and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Banking/financial services experience.
• Experience with enterprise application frameworks and integrated systems.
• Experience leading technical tasks or coordinating development resources.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
