Job Description

Market Manager Flights

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Manager Flights based in United Kingdom.

This is a strategic, commercially focused role responsible for taking an established B2B flight product to market across Europe. You’ll become the subject-matter expert for the flight offering, shaping its go-to-market strategy, positioning, and commercial growth. Working closely with enterprise sales, you’ll act as a strategic co-seller, supporting pitches, demonstrations, negotiations, and major customer opportunities. You’ll translate market intelligence, pricing, competitive dynamics, and technical capabilities into compelling commercial propositions. The role also gives you a strong voice in product direction, allowing you to influence future capabilities based on customer and market needs. You’ll join a global, fast-moving travel technology environment where ownership, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration are central to success.

Accountabilities
  • Own and develop the go-to-market strategy for the B2B flight product, identifying priority markets, customer segments, use cases, and commercial opportunities.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on the flight offering, including airline coverage, GDS, low-cost carrier, and NDC content.
  • Partner closely with enterprise sales teams as a strategic co-seller, supporting complex opportunities from initial positioning through pitches, demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Develop compelling sales narratives, positioning, messaging, presentations, and enablement materials that clearly communicate product value to different B2B buyer personas.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, customer needs, and pricing structures to identify opportunities and inform commercial strategy.
  • Help develop commercial models and pricing approaches that balance enterprise customer acquisition with sustainable margins.
  • Identify friction points across the sales cycle and work cross-functionally to develop solutions that improve conversion and accelerate deals.
  • Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to translate market feedback into roadmap priorities and new product capabilities.
  • Lead the commercialization of new flight capabilities, determining how and where new features should be positioned and brought to market.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and executive stakeholders, translating technical product capabilities into clear business outcomes.
  • Own the go-to-market motion end to end, operating across commercial, product, technical, and strategic functions as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, market management, technical sales, commercial strategy, or a related discipline within travel technology, aviation, or B2B travel.
  • Strong understanding of the travel distribution ecosystem, including airline distribution, GDS, NDC, low-cost carriers, and B2B travel technology.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing new products, features, or services to market, from positioning and messaging through sales enablement and commercial execution.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise sales teams as a subject-matter expert, strategic partner, or co-seller on complex technical solutions.
  • Ability to transform market intelligence, pricing data, technical specifications, and competitive insights into clear and actionable commercial strategies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage executive-level buyers and explain complex technology in terms of business value.
  • Experience working with API-based products or other technical B2B solutions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement platforms is a plus.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and understanding of enterprise buying processes.
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, cross-functional environment where responsibilities span commercial strategy, product, technology, and sales.
  • Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to take ownership of a go-to-market initiative from strategy through execution.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to build credibility with sales, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Benefits
  • Remote working opportunity within Europe.
  • Significant ownership over the go-to-market strategy and commercial growth of an established B2B flight product.
  • Direct exposure to enterprise customers and strategic sales opportunities.
  • Opportunity to influence product roadmap and future flight capabilities through market and customer insights.
  • Global working environment with colleagues and customers across multiple markets.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of travel technology, APIs, aviation, and emerging AI-driven travel experiences.
  • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment combining startup agility with an established product and customer base.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the growth of a global travel technology infrastructure platform.
  • Competitive annual compensation, with salary expectations discussed as part of the recruitment process.
