This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a IT Project and Delivery Manager based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity to lead technology and business initiatives in a global, multicultural environment.
You will oversee projects from initiation and planning through production deployment, transition, and closure.
The role combines elements of Project Manager, Delivery Manager, and Scrum Master responsibilities.
You will work across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies depending on each initiative’s needs.
The position requires strong ownership of scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and releases.
You will partner with business, engineering, infrastructure, security, QA, operations, and external stakeholders.
Fluent English and the ability to lead complex discussions with international teams are essential.

• Lead business-facing and technology projects from initiation through delivery, transition, and closure, maintaining momentum and clear ownership throughout the lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning business, engineering, infrastructure, security, quality assurance, operations, and external partners.

• Apply Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery approaches according to project complexity, risk, and business requirements.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement when applicable.

• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Sponsors, and Technical Leads to structure delivery into phases, releases, epics, and actionable tasks.

• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, resource hours, fixed-bid costs, accruals, and variances.

• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and cross-team dependencies, escalating critical blockers and decisions proactively.

• Coordinate production changes and releases through ServiceNow and support day-of-release activities with technical teams.

• Ensure testing, approvals, documentation, communications, support plans, operational handovers, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities are completed.

• Maintain alignment with Software Development Lifecycle, security, compliance, and change-management standards.

• Lead complex business and technical discussions with global stakeholders and communicate project status, risks, decisions, financial impacts, and required actions to senior leadership.

• Facilitate informed decision-making by presenting facts, options, trade-offs, and recommendations while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, Scrum Master, or in a comparable technology delivery role.

• Proven experience delivering business-facing technical projects in international enterprise environments.

• Strong experience with Waterfall, Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and Hybrid delivery models.

• Practical experience in project planning, financial and resource management, risk management, production change, and release management.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and technology delivery processes.

• Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to independently lead complex discussions, formulate recommendations, drive decisions, and follow through on actions.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project/Project Server, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.

• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in real time with international stakeholders.

• Experience working with global, multicultural, and distributed teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered as an alternative.

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus.

• Experience with business transformation, managed services, service transition, multi-squad delivery, vendors, or globally distributed partners is desirable.

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Familiarity with portfolio governance, compliance, security, audit, and enterprise technology controls is a plus.

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment, with flexibility for occasional global meetings, critical milestones, production releases, or project transitions.
