ICMS is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Estimator (Head Estimator) who is responsible for leading and managing the preparation, review, and documentation of construction cost estimates for work performed by the Contractor's workforce and subcontractors. The Head Estimator ensures estimates are accurate, complete, consistent, and supported by objective documentation, labor and material pricing, production rates, subcontractor quotations, and other applicable cost data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed and accurate construction cost estimates for work performed by the Contractor's workforce and subcontracted work using construction cost estimating software such as WinEst or equivalent.

· Develop estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, indirect costs, and other applicable project expenses.

· Obtain, evaluate, and incorporate subcontractor and vendor quotations into estimates as appropriate.

· Ensure information, documentation, assumptions, calculations, and supporting data for subcontracted work meet the same standards of accuracy, completeness, and documentation required for Contractor-performed work.

· Review subcontractor estimates and proposals for completeness, scope alignment, pricing accuracy, exclusions, assumptions, and potential gaps or overlaps.

· Maintain organized estimating files, including takeoffs, pricing documentation, quotations, assumptions, calculations, and estimate revisions.

· Establish and maintain consistent estimating procedures, methodologies, templates, and quality-control practices.

· Support preparation and maintenance of estimates associated with modifications, change orders, task orders, work requests, proposals, and other contract requirements.

· Identify potential cost, scope, schedule, and estimating risks and communicate significant issues to project management.

· Support weekly subcontract workload data reporting, including collecting, validating, and consolidating subcontract workload and cost information.

· Ensure all estimates and supporting documentation are prepared in accordance with applicable contract requirements, company procedures, and established industry practices.

· Maintain confidentiality and appropriate control of pricing, subcontractor, and other sensitive cost information.

· Perform other estimating and cost-analysis duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Contract Manager.

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 8–10 years of construction estimating experience, with at least 3 years in a lead/senior estimating capacity

· Proficiency in construction cost estimating software such as WinEst, or an equivalent industry-standard estimating platform

· Strong understanding of construction means and methods, labor and material pricing, quantity takeoffs, production rates, subcontractor pricing, and cost-estimating methodologies.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, omissions, inconsistencies, and unsupported costs in estimates

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Job Type: Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.
