North Regional Maintenance Foreman in Lake City, Florida at PRIDE Enterprises

Regular travel to multiple Industries is required. A company vehicle and gas card are provided.

Job Summary: Coordinates facilities maintenance, repair, and construction projects across PRI’s north regional industries. Responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking project progress, coordinating resources, and supporting operational efficiency of PRI’s north regional industries.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Develop project schedules, prioritize work assignments, and ensure timely completion of facilities projects.
2. Monitor project progress and provide status updates to management, identifying potential delays or resource needs.
3. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel, and inmate labor to support the successful completion of facilities projects.
4. Conduct site inspections to assess maintenance needs, project readiness, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
5. Assist with planning, budgeting, and estimating labor, materials, equipment, and project costs.
6. Review facility systems, building conditions, and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement and preventive maintenance.
7. Maintain compliance with policies related to security, tool control, inmate management, and workplace safety.
8. Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary to support facilities projects.
9. Coordinate facilities maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction projects assigned by the Operations Manager, Facilities & Tiny Houses.
10. Maintain records related to projects, maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment.
11. Other duties as needed assigned by the Operations Manager, Facilities & Tiny Houses.

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, building operations, or project coordination required. Supervisory or project leadership experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, safety guidelines, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions. Ability to prepare routine reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively in writing.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate and percent and interpret bar graphs.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify and resolve practical problems, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions in a dynamic work environment. Ability to interpret and apply instructions provided in written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based formats.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Familiarity with maintenance and construction principles, project management practices, budgeting, safety requirements, and contractor management. Ability to review and interpret plans, specifications, and work-related documentation.

Other Skills & Abilities: Ability to prioritize multiple projects, coordinate resources among multiple locations, and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel to facilities throughout Florida which may include overnight stays.
