Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Issue Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Issue Management based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of how modern organizations operationalize trust and compliance at scale, defining the systems that help enterprises detect, track, and resolve security and compliance issues before they become audit risks. You will own a critical product surface that serves as the system of record for compliance remediation workflows, ensuring that issues are surfaced, assigned, and resolved efficiently across complex organizations. In parallel, you will help build a new greenfield capability for exception management, enabling structured approval and tracking of policy exceptions in enterprise environments. The work is deeply cross-functional, combining product strategy, customer discovery, and close partnership with go-to-market teams. A major focus of the role is shaping next-generation, AI-driven workflows that proactively identify compliance risks and automate remediation paths. This is a high-impact opportunity to define foundational capabilities in a rapidly growing enterprise trust platform.

Accountabilities:

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Issue Management and Exception Management, ensuring both deliver measurable enterprise value and support complex GRC workflows at scale. Build and scale a new exception management product from the ground up while evolving existing issue tracking capabilities into enterprise-grade systems.

  • Define and execute the product strategy for issue tracking and exception management workflows
  • Lead greenfield development of exception management capabilities in partnership with sales and solutions engineering
  • Design and deliver AI-driven, agentic workflows that proactively surface risks, route issues, and automate compliance processes
  • Conduct deep enterprise customer discovery to translate compliance workflows into scalable product solutions
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to support deal cycles, positioning, and product-led revenue enablement
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and adoption benchmarks to measure product impact and guide roadmap prioritization
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance experts to deliver robust, scalable solutions
Requirements:

6–8 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with strong exposure to enterprise workflows, compliance systems, or security-related products. Proven ability to build both mature product areas and greenfield capabilities in ambiguous environments is essential.

  • Experience building enterprise-grade workflow or system-of-record products
  • Strong background in AI/ML-powered product development or agentic workflow design
  • Demonstrated success working closely with sales, solutions engineering, and GTM teams
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory or compliance requirements into clear product requirements
  • Experience conducting customer discovery with enterprise stakeholders and driving insights into roadmap decisions
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills with a data-driven approach to product strategy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Comfort operating in zero-to-one product environments and scaling them to maturity
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with equity participation
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (often fully covered for employees)
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Flexible PTO policy plus paid sick time and holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and immediate vesting
  • Health, wellness, and remote work stipends (internet, workspace, and cellphone support)
  • Family planning and additional employee support benefits
  • Remote-first work environment with global collaboration opportunities
  • Strong culture of innovation, AI adoption, and continuous learning
