Media Manager, Brand Marketing and Integrated Campaigns

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Media Manager, Brand Marketing and Integrated Campaigns based in Canada.

This is a high-impact, strategic media leadership role focused on driving integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns that support meaningful public health outcomes.
You will lead end-to-end media strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across both always-on and campaign-based initiatives.
The role requires balancing performance marketing precision with brand storytelling across a complex, multi-channel media ecosystem.
You will work closely with Brand, Fundraising, Analytics, and external agency partners to ensure media investments deliver measurable impact.
A strong focus is placed on continuous optimization, budget efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across all campaigns.
You will also help shape scalable media processes and best practices in a fast-evolving, mission-driven environment.
This is a collaborative hybrid role with exposure to high-visibility, purpose-driven national campaigns.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of media strategies across integrated campaigns, including always-on performance media, paid search, digital acquisition, and emerging channels.
  • Translate brand and campaign objectives into actionable media plans, defining channel mix, investment strategy, and optimization approach in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including briefing agencies, overseeing trafficking readiness, QA processes, and ensuring accurate in-platform setup across channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance in real time, working closely with analytics teams to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of spend, clear tracking of performance, and alignment with acquisition and fundraising goals.
  • Oversee agency relationships, ensuring clear briefs, accountability, timely delivery, and alignment with performance expectations and KPIs.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable media workflows, reporting standards, and optimization frameworks to improve overall marketing effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 6–8 years of experience in media planning, execution, and optimization, with strong expertise in digital and performance media.
  • Proven experience managing always-on media programs alongside large-scale integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong background in working with external media agencies, including briefing, performance oversight, and budget accountability.
  • Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including paid search, digital acquisition, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable media strategies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with Brand, Marketing, Analytics, Communications, and Digital teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics (including GA4) and PowerBI is considered an asset.
  • Bonus: experience in fundraising, nonprofit, or mission-driven marketing environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of CAD 80,000–95,000 aligned with experience and internal compensation framework.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
  • Defined contribution pension plan with employer matching.
  • Generous paid time off including vacation days, personal days, wellness days, and year-end holiday closure.
  • Flexible hybrid work model with occasional travel to the Toronto office.
  • Employee assistance program (EAP) and wellness-focused benefits.
  • Home office setup support and mobile phone reimbursement.
  • Professional development opportunities and continuous learning support.
  • Inclusive, values-driven culture focused on equity, diversity, and community impact.
