Job Description

You're the person who fixes things before being asked.

You've swapped out an outlet, replaced a faucet, or taken something apart just to understand how it works. When you hit a wall, your first move is to find information — a wiring diagram, a manual, a YouTube video — not to wait for someone to hand you the answer. You communicate clearly, in writing and in person. And you enjoy coffee.

We’re Caffeinated Coffee Repairs.

We’re the company that keeps commercial coffee equipment for cafes, hotels, and hospitality businesses across the South-Central and Pacific Northwest United States running at peak performance. The work is technical, independent, and genuinely interesting.

We're looking for a field technician who takes that responsibility seriously — someone who's handy, curious, and clear-headed under pressure.

What you'll be doing every day

Two to three service calls at commercial coffee locations — cafes, hotels, hospitality accounts. The work includes:

  • Measuring voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity with a multimeter
  • Tracing faults through electrical and hydraulic diagrams
  • Identifying thread types and outlet configurations, fabricating adapters as needed
  • Taking apart and reassembling equipment carefully, with no corners cut
  • Looking up part numbers in parts diagrams and machine documentation
  • Writing service notes that are accurate, professional, and free of errors
  • Keeping time and tickets organized in ServiceTitan, our dispatch platform
  • Communicating repair findings to customers clearly and professionally
  • Tasting coffee after each repair to verify the machine is calibrated correctly

You should already be comfortable with a multimeter and basic hand tools. Experience with home electrical work, plumbing repairs, or hands-on projects is expected. You'll need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, the ability to lift 75 lbs, a smartphone capable of running our required apps, and a secure address for parts deliveries via FedEx and UPS.

The support behind you

You won't be doing this alone. A dedicated team manages scheduling, dispatch, and back-office support including estimates and invoicing for large and enterprise accounts. Inventory is tracked digitally and restocked automatically — though you'll assist with parts receiving and inventory counts. Basic vehicle confidence is expected, things like handling a flat tire or dropping the vehicle off for scheduled maintenance. Once you complete training, you'll receive a company vehicle and start each day from home.

What success looks like

At 30 days — accurate diagnoses. Speed isn't the focus yet. Getting it right is.

At 60 days — running calls solo with minimal errors. Self-sufficient.

At 90 days — averaging two hours or less on site. Capable and efficient.

Compensation and benefits

  • $20–$25/hour based on experience and certifications
  • Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
  • Medical, dental, and vision — eligible within 90 days
  • 401(k) with company match and paid time off
  • Company vehicle upon completion of training
  • Career growth in a skilled, in-demand trade
  • Military friendly and equal opportunity employer

The pay range for this role is:
20 - 25 USD per hour(Greater Houston Region)
