ONA Wage Range: $57.63 to $82.02, dependent on experience
ELIGIBLE FOR CMH EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: PRIORITY RECRUITMENT
The Clinic Registered Nurse provides ambulatory care services by assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and performing skills related to patient care in CMH clinics. Assists providers with and performs procedures appropriate for the clinic. Coordinates all services necessary for the care of assigned patients. Columbia Memorial Hospital Caregivers contribute to CMH success by providing remarkable customer service to our community.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Demonstrates proficient computer skills. Must be flexible as needs arise and possess willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to a changing environment. Must possess assessment skills for all age groups. Must be able to speak, understand, read and write English. Must be able to operate office machines, as well as medical-related equipment. Must be flexible as needs arise and possess a willingness to acquire new or perform difference skills while adapting to a changing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining a warm welcoming, professional atmosphere while performing general office duties.
License/Certifications:
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN License
• Current unencumbered Washington State RN License
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
Education and/or Experience
Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Minimum Experience: A thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedure, and skills and techniques. Ambulatory care experience preferred. For RNs graduating within the last 12 months, or RNs that have not practiced in an acute care facility within the last 24 months, and have not previously completed a residency program will be required to complete the CMH-provided program.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
Normal or correct vision is required to monitor patient. Occasionally will work extended hours or variation of usual shift and will be dependent on patient requirements. Ability to lift and transfer patients is required, usually with the assistance of co-workers, but some occasional lifting without assistance. Normal to corrected vision is required. Standing is necessary. Normal or corrected hearing is necessary to distinguish differences in monitor alarms, heartbeats, and breathing. Manual dexterity is required to operate equipment. Subject to physical and emotional stress of work environment.
