OUTLETS MANAGER
Fairlane Hotel | Nashville, TN
Full-Time | Salaried | On-Property
ABOUT FAIRLANE HOTEL
Fairlane Hotel is a 79-room independent boutique property in the heart of downtown Nashville, home to a full-service restaurant, cafe, and banquet spaces. Our outlets deliver a distinctive experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests.
POSITION SUMMARY
Fairlane Hotel is seeking an Outlets Manager to oversee daily operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, banquet services, and special events, ensuring seamless service, strong financial performance, and a distinctive guest experience.
This role is hands-on, people-focused, and highly collaborative across hotel departments. The ideal candidate brings strong operational instincts, a calm presence under pressure, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Front-of-House Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop front-of-house teams across cafe, restaurants, and banquets through training, in-the-moment coaching, and performance accountability
- Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor, especially during peak periods, modeling calm, confident decision-making
- Create and sustain a culture of hospitality, emphasizing guest recovery, clear communication, and positive team energy
Outlet and Banquet Operations:
- Oversee all outlet and banquet operations, ensuring consistent service standards across daily service, group functions, private events, and buyouts
- Ensure operational readiness through strong opening and closing standards, cleanliness, food safety, and liquor compliance
- Manage banquet execution including staffing plans, event timelines, room setups, service flow, and post-event debrief
Events and Sales Partnership:
- Partner closely with Sales, Events, and hotel leadership to execute banquets, meetings, and special events, transforming event guests into repeat patrons
Financial and Cost Management:
- Drive operational performance including labor optimization, cost controls, service timing, and overall outlet profitability
- Oversee purchasing, inventories, and controls for beer, wine, spirits, and operational supplies
Collaboration and Team Development:
- Collaborate with culinary and bar teams on menu programming, creative specials, and craft cocktail direction
- Provide cross-coverage as needed, proactively identifying and communicating staffing or operational gaps
- Lead by example, demonstrating ownership, pride, and a hands-on leadership approach
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Prior food and beverage or outlet leadership experience
- Strong operational instincts and a calm presence under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
- Knowledge of food safety, liquor compliance, and banquet execution
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience in a boutique, lifestyle, or independent hotel setting
- Familiarity with beverage programming and craft cocktail direction
- Prior banquet and event management experience
SCHEDULE
On-property role. Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational needs.
