Position Summary:	The Banquet Bartender is responsible for the set-up operation and breakdown of event bars at The Inn at Villanova University. Job duties include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ability to interact with guests, co-workers, and supervisors in a positive and helpful manner, as well being able to work independently for extended periods of time. Duties and Responsibilities:	Set up and stock bar area along with preparing any alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages and condiments/supplies. Greet guests, take customer’s orders and serve in a friendly, courteous manner. Maintain professionalism while assessing guest’s needs and preferences and offer recommendations if needed. Maintain a clean and neat work and service area and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:	High School diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge of beverages and food items, and cleaning practices, RAMP certification required. 1 year food service experience. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision. Excellent guest service skills. Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks. Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
Preferred Qualifications:
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:	Standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
