Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Identity

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Identity based in the United States.

This is an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of Identity within a growing B2B SaaS platform focused on Apple device management. As the product evolves toward agentic endpoint management, you will define the identity, authentication, and trust capabilities that make device-level actions secure and reliable. This hands-on senior individual contributor role combines product discovery, roadmap development, technical collaboration, and go-to-market execution. You will work closely with executive leadership, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and identity provider partners. The role offers significant influence over product direction, including emerging challenges around identifying, authorizing, and auditing AI agents. You will help turn complex identity requirements into valuable, market-ready capabilities for IT teams and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

Accountabilities
  • Own and maintain a prioritized 12-month Identity roadmap covering identity provider integrations, sign-in, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and device trust, with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead integrations with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and other identity providers, including SCIM provisioning, group synchronization, and joiner-mover-leaver workflows.

  • Establish repeatable documentation and certification processes for new identity provider integrations.

  • Drive Apple Identity capabilities, including Platform SSO, Managed Apple Accounts, account-driven enrollment, and Apple Business Manager federation, ensuring support for new macOS and iOS releases.

  • Deliver secure and user-friendly authentication experiences, including SSO, MFA, passkeys, FIDO2, Touch ID, and account recovery flows.

  • Own device trust, multi-tenant Identity for MSPs, administrative roles and permissions, and collaborate with executive leadership on Identity for AI agents through the MCP gateway.

  • Lead go-to-market execution for Identity features, including positioning, packaging, pricing input, launches, and Sales and Customer Success enablement.

  • Develop product-led growth initiatives through in-product opt-in, guided setup, activation measurement, and trial-to-paid conversion.

  • Manage identity provider partnerships, including roadmap alignment, certification, co-marketing, and escalations.

  • Establish strong product management practices through evidence-based PRDs, cross-functional launch plans, measurable adoption goals, and post-launch retrospectives.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, including at least 3 years owning an Identity, access management, or authentication product area.

  • Demonstrated experience shipping Apple Identity capabilities in production, including at least one of Platform SSO, Managed Apple Accounts, Apple Business Manager federation, or the MDM protocol.

  • Working knowledge of Apple MDM and declarative device management.

  • Strong understanding of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and FIDO2/WebAuthn, including how major identity providers implement these standards.

  • Experience delivering SSO, MFA, passwordless authentication, or device-trust capabilities, with a practical understanding of production issues and customer failure scenarios.

  • Experience taking products to market in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, contributing to packaging and pricing, and managing product-led growth initiatives with measurable activation and conversion results.

  • Regular use of AI tools for research synthesis, data analysis, PRD development, and prototyping, supported by demonstrable methods and outcomes.

  • Ability to produce clear, actionable PRDs that Engineering teams can execute independently, and to conduct evidence-driven product discovery.

  • Strong customer focus, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to engage IT and security stakeholders and communicate outcomes effectively.

  • Preferred: Experience at an identity provider, device-trust company, or MDM vendor.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with MSP multi-tenant products and partner-delegated administration.

  • Preferred: Previous experience as an IT administrator, Identity engineer, or solutions engineer.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or comparable compliance frameworks and Identity-related audit controls.

  • Preferred: Experience launching an integration marketplace or partner certification program.

Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary and commission structure, commensurate with experience; full compensation details are shared during the interview process.

  • Remote work arrangement within the United States.

  • Full-time position with opportunities to influence the direction of Identity and agentic endpoint management capabilities.

  • Collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on emerging product and technical challenges.

  • Opportunities to build relationships with identity provider partners and contribute to the evolution of Apple device management.
