Position: Full-Time Trucking Dispatcher
Schedule: Various shifts available – 24/7 Operations, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Voyager Express, Inc. is seeking dependable, organized, and motivated Trucking Dispatchers to join our transportation operations team.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and have multiple shifts available. Our dispatchers are responsible for coordinating drivers, managing loads, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation.

We are looking for individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, solve problems, and keep our trucks moving.

• Dispatch and coordinate truck drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

• Monitor driver locations, load status, and delivery schedules.

• Communicate with drivers, customers, brokers, and other departments.

• Plan routes and coordinate assignments to maximize efficiency.

• Monitor drivers' hours of service (HOS) and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

• Address delays, breakdowns, scheduling conflicts, and other operational issues.

• Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation management systems.

• Coordinate with our Safety and Maintenance departments when necessary.

• Monitor equipment availability and driver schedules.

• Provide timely updates regarding loads, delays, and delivery issues.

• Work with other dispatchers to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.

• Previous trucking dispatch experience preferred.

• Knowledge of the trucking industry, including DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working with computers, dispatch software, and GPS tracking systems.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
