Monticello Spring of Monticello, IN is actively seeking to hire a full-time Fabricator/Maintenance Operator for our manufacturing facility. SKILLS:

• Fabricate basic sheet metal and machine parts for maintenance related issues.
• General knowledge of common shop equipment, break, sheer, lathe, end mill to name a few.
• Welding skills using MIG & TIG welders.
• Performs general electrical work, i.e., conduit, wire sizing, pulling wire, and construction.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs from work orders within the maintenance system.
• Comfortable with 1Ph and 3Ph power up to 480V.
• Ability to work on equipment to repair mechanical issues as well.
• Varying degrees of electrical knowledge in everything from low voltage signal wiring, 240 V 3 phase is a BIG plus.
• Attendance is especially important in this role.
• Must be able to keep workstation neat and organized and can work well with others effectively as well as alone.

MAINTENANCE OPERATOR WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time mechanical position offers a Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm work schedule.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· Good critical thinking skills for troubleshooting problems

· Mechanical troubleshooting skills

· Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints

· Mechanical skills for assisting with other maintenance tasks desired

· High School Diploma or GED

· 2+ years in an Industrial maintenance environment is preferred
