JOIN OUR MISSION TO END HOMELESSNESS

Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, we believe everyone deserves a safe home and the opportunity to thrive. That’s why we provide long-term housing paired with on-site services that promote stability, health, and community. Our culture is rooted in dignity, respect, and shared responsibility: We practice hospitality, communicate with care, and collaborate across differences. We value lived experience, cultural responsiveness, and approaches grounded in harm reduction, trauma-informed practice, and resident choice. We look for people who are committed to safety, learning, and continuous improvement — and who bring steady, values-aligned service in moments that are complex or high-stress.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

At Plymouth Housing, every dollar supports our mission of helping people move from homelessness into permanent supportive housing. As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you’ll lead the organization’s budgeting, financial analysis, and grants management, making sure our buildings, programs, and residents have the resources they need. You’ll report to the CFO, supervise the Grant and Financial Analyst team, and serve as the main contact for our external operational grant funders and sponsors. We’re looking for a leader who builds trust, treats every resident and colleague with respect, and brings both financial rigor and a genuine commitment to our mission. If you want your expertise to make a lasting difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Provide a bi-monthly report on grant activity to the executive leadership team, highlighting initiatives that aren’t on track to meet contract targets or budget.
  • Report grant utilization to the Housing Operations (HOps) and Quality, Innovation and Health (QIH) teams to support management oversight.
  • Develop and monitor an annual work plan to achieve strategic goals.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and retain skilled finance staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Evaluate internal controls and make sure they’re being followed.
