Senior Planning Partner, Content in Haciendas del Canada, Nuevo León at Jobgether
Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Planning Partner, Content based in Canada.
In this senior-level role, you will lead strategic content planning and coordinate complex product launches within a global customer support environment. You will act as the primary planning partner for content teams, ensuring that every launch is delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Localization teams, you will drive cross-functional alignment and manage the full content launch lifecycle. You will anticipate potential challenges, resolve operational blockers, and establish clear communication across stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to a seamless customer experience by ensuring that content is accurate, accessible, and ready when customers need it. This is an opportunity to influence global operations, improve planning processes, and make a measurable impact in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Strategic planning and stakeholder management: Serve as the primary planning partner for assigned product areas, building strong relationships with Content Managers, writers, strategists, and cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain regular communication, organize check-ins, share planning timelines, and ensure alignment on objectives, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- End-to-end launch coordination: Own the planning and coordination of content activities for product launches, identifying all relevant stakeholders, including Marketing, Legal, Engineering, technical subject matter experts, Localization, Training, and Knowledge Management teams.
- Content scheduling and prioritization: Develop and communicate comprehensive content schedules, incorporating audits, writing, technical reviews, marketing and legal approvals, localization, and contingency time. Coordinate approval timelines and ensure all contributors understand their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Launch meetings and operational execution: Organize and lead launch planning meetings, content audits, weekly status reviews, marketing pre-launch discussions, and launch-day coordination sessions. Establish communication channels and facilitate collaboration to ensure smooth execution.
- Content audits and impact assessment: Partner with content strategists to identify all content affected by upcoming launches, prioritize deliverables according to urgency (P1, P2, and P3), ensure tracking tickets are created, and identify content requiring interface updates or localization.
- Risk management and issue resolution: Proactively identify potential delays, missing approvals, shifting launch dates, and other operational risks. Develop mitigation strategies, escalate blockers when necessary, and drive issues through to resolution rather than simply reporting their status.
- Cross-functional communication: Prepare and distribute regular progress updates, stakeholder communications, and escalation reports. Ensure partner teams remain informed of launch requirements, timelines, changes, and dependencies.
- Launch execution and reporting: Coordinate the real-time content go-live process once launch readiness is confirmed. Represent the content team in launch meetings and operational sessions, track publication status, prepare leadership presentations, and document launch outcomes, performance, and lessons learned.
- Process improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine content planning workflows, simplify coordination processes, and introduce feedback mechanisms to improve collaboration, efficiency, and delivery quality.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in strategic planning, program management, business operations, or a related field, with a demonstrated record of delivering successful initiatives.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional planning processes, portfolio coordination, or complex programs with visibility at senior leadership level.
- Experience coordinating content operations, knowledge management initiatives, or product launches is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of software product development lifecycles and methodologies, with practical experience in Agile environments considered an asset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including an understanding of system implementation, operational processes, and change management.
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration and project management tools such as Asana, Jira, and Airtable.
- Exceptional organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple launches, competing priorities, and complex dependencies simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, manage ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and de-escalate sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, combined with strong attention to detail and accountability for delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Adaptability and resilience when working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements may evolve.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, facilitate collaboration, and maintain alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Must reside in an eligible Canadian province where the organization has a registered entity. Currently eligible provinces include Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. Eligibility may evolve over time.
- Competitive salary: Annual base salary ranging from CAD $102,000 to $128,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
- Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses and equity awards.
- Employee benefits: Access to a comprehensive benefits package.
- Travel perks: Employee Travel Credits.
- Remote flexibility: Remote-eligible position within approved Canadian provinces.
- Flexible working environment: Occasional opportunities to work from an office or attend team offsites, in agreement with your manager.
- Inclusive workplace: Commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility, and belonging.
- Accessible recruitment: Reasonable accommodations are available throughout the application and interview process for candidates with disabilities.
- Professional impact: Opportunity to collaborate with international teams, influence global content operations, and contribute to customer experience improvements at scale.
