Schedule: Day shift Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Job Description:

The Production Manager will oversee the daily operational aspects of our service delivery, managing a team of approximately four Project Managers, roughly 40+ scanning operators and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This role requires a leader with strong communication skills, the ability to foster a high-performing team and work closely developing individual performance, strong organizational skills and can lead and motivate staff to be accountable to assigned goals.

This position will work daily with the VP of Services to adjust priorities, problem solve, respond to customers and overcome obstacles to achieve goals.

Duties/Responsibilities include:

• Operational Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and monitor service delivery processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a team of service professionals, fostering a culture and spirit of teamwork, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
• Client Satisfaction: Collaborate with account managers to ensure client expectations are met, communicating proactively, addressing escalations and building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and enhance operational performance.
• Problem-Solving for Difficult Projects: Proactively and independently identify and resolve complex project challenges, such as scope creep, resource constraints, or technical issues, by conducting root cause analyses, developing contingency plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Budget Management: Monitor production costs, ensuring alignment with the company’s revenue goals and financial objectives.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on production metrics, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
• Personnel Development: Lead by example, model teamwork and positivity, and support resolution of any challenges or conflicts in a timely manner.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in production or operations management, preferably in a services industry.
• Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects in a $5M-$10M revenue business.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal and client-facing interactions.

• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost controls.

Preferred:

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of remaining in a sitting position for extended periods of time operating a PC. May be required to lift to 35lbs.

Working Conditions:

Capable of working efficiently and accurately in a quiet, temperature-controlled environment with other production staff simultaneously utilizing various electronic imaging and film equipment. Work will be fast-paced and deadline driven.
