AR Specialist at MUC HOLDINGS LLC – Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina

MUC is a local software company seeking to fulfill a Full-Time Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist position.

Job Purpose: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the daily and timely processing of client batch invoices and data analysis within a customer service-oriented team environment.

Accounts Receivables Specialist Duties to include, but not limited to:

• AR Department Supporting Tasks
• Daily Client Accounting Batch Generation and Processing – including but not limited to:
  • Create Accounting Batch Invoices for Over 30 Clients
  • Generate various Upload Files and Reports for Analysis and Verification
  • Financial and Usage Related Analysis of Client Data for various utility types: Power, Natural Gas, Water, Sewer, etc.,
  • Perform Quality Control during Analysis
  • Send finalized Client Batch Invoices, Add Invoices to AR Tracking Sheet, Add Invoices into Accounting Software
  • Close Client Accounting Batches after Payment Received
• Generate Collections Emails for Past Due Invoices
• Monitor and Maintain Billing Email Inbox
• Ongoing Process Improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Highly organized and efficient with excellent time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks
• Skilled in all Microsoft Office Products

Desired Qualifications:

• 2-Year Accounting or Finance Degree (not required)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software (not required)
• Basic accounting knowledge with one-year Accounting and/or Finance related experience
