Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

We are searching for a few great individuals to fill openings on our Lawn Maintenance Crew. This position is responsible for assisting the Crew Leader in daily operations including quality control, time management, and safety. Candidates must also have strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Must be able to provide quality service that meets or exceed management and our customers expectations. Positivity, a customer service minded attitude, and professional conduct is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good stamina, strength, and the ability to lift 50lbs+ throughout the work day.
• High attention to detail.
• High ability to work in a team minded manner under high stress situations while keeping your composure on and off the job.
• Available to work a varied schedule in all adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, and bend for 8hrs or more a day.

SUPPORT CREW LEADER IN DAILY AND WEEKLY TASKS:

• Report on time at regular start time to prepare/review the day's work with the Crew Leader.
• Daily preparation of trucks, equipment, and inventory.
• Load all tools, gas, and other necessary equipment/materials. Secure all equipment safely.
• Check truck fluids, tire pressure, proper trailer connection, and all lights are in working condition.
• Preform and manage landscape and maintenance task on customers property.
• Work in conjunction with the Crew Leader to ensure the work contracted in implemented efficiently and according to contracted specifications.
• Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns and landscape beds.
• Preform all tasks of operations including mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, pruning, raking, mulch/rock installation, and removal.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18yrs
• Driver’s license and have an insurable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to drive truck with trailer a plus.
• 1yr of experience preferred, but not required.
• Pesticide Applicator License or the ability to obtain license.
• Drug free work environment.

Compensation:

• $16.00 - $20.00 Per Hour based on experience and skill level.
