Lab Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our busy pediatric clinic is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to add to our team. The Lab Assistant will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and most importantly, share in our atmosphere of teamwork. The candidate will need to possess a solid knowledge of responsibilities as a licensed Laboratory Assistant and have the initiative to work independently. The applicant must have a current Louisiana State License as a Laboratory Assistant and experience in phlebotomy. Your job duties will include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, specimen collection, waived and moderately complex testing, including quality assurance and quality control performance. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am through 5:00pm and some Saturdays.
