Construction Project Management Instructor (Part-Time) at Brunswick Community College (NC) – North Carolina

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom instruction, examination preparation and grading, while preparing students for a rewarding career as Construction Project Managers.

• Provides students with hands on training as well as textbook training to succeed as construction project managers
• Demonstrates an ability to plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
• Ability to prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
• Assists students in recognizing how to inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
• Teaches best practices when conferring with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems
• Team building activities and knowledge of Microsoft Project or any other pertinent project scheduling programs.
