Essential Functions:

1. Provides basic nursing, personal care, and assistance to residents

2. Assists with transporting residents to and from the dining area

3. Assists residents with toileting, changing, and bathroom privileges

4. Turns residents confined in bed and assists with bed-making

5. Assists with the maintenance and storage of residents' clothing and belongings and the cleanliness of the environment

6. Takes and records residents' vital signs

7. Cleans a variety of equipment

8. Carries out proper cleansing and PPE with care for residents

9. Empties soiled laundry bins and trash cans

10. Performs a range of motion

11. Assists resident with feeding and monitors food and liquid intake for nutritional status 12. Informs the charge nurse of changes in the residents' condition

13. Provides post-mortem care

14. Documents all care and notifies the nurse of any refusals of care or changes in the resident's condition

15. Performs other work as required
