Pay Range:

$17.45-$22.25 (uncertified)*

$18.51-$23.60 (certified)*

A Medical Assistant is a key part of the healthcare team, working alongside providers and clinical staff to support the delivery of patient care in a professional outpatient setting. This role contributes to creating a positive experience for patients by promoting efficiency, communication, and a focus on quality care. Medical Assistants help maintain a safe and organized environment while ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards. Flexibility may be required, including the possibility of occasional weekend or evening shifts based on the needs of the practice.

Job Duties:

• Rooming patients

• Cleaning and stocking patient rooms

• Tracking the use of supplies

• Assisting with procedures

• Performing point-of-care testing and specimen collection, including proper labeling and documentation

• Tracking and documenting the receipt of lab results and forwarding them to the appropriate provider

• Other tasks as they relate to patient care needs

Requirements: Bending, lifting, standing, walking
