Certified Nursing Assisstant at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley – Sun Valley, California

As a member of the patient care team, the primary role of the CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT is to provide basic patient care as directed ensuring the safety, comfort and protection of our patients. Duties may include taking and monitoring vital signs, preparing patient/room for admission/transfer/discharge, collecting samples for laboratory analysis, preparing patient for meals and assisting with patient feeding when necessary, and anticipating patient needs and responding to call lights as promptly.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Six (6) months prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant in an acute care environment
• Valid CA CNA Certification and BLS required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills required
• Ability to speak, read and write English,
