About This Position

Reporting directly to the Chairman of Anesthesiology, the Executive Assistant provides executive and administrative support. The Executive Assistant often serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the smooth operations of the OR. The Executive Assistant completes all monthly quality reports, peer review reports and on call schedules. Assists in the onboarding process of all Anesthesia Technicians and CRNA's. Maintaining all physician files, works closely with medical staff to ensure all files are compliant with Joint Commission standards. Prepares various documentation for weekly/monthly meetings including taking of minutes. Review of ASA standards to ensure that departmental policies remain up to date. Ordering of all departmental supplies. Completion of all payroll and accrual of Anesthesia Technicians. Many diversified duties as required by the department.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Medical terminology preferred. Strong organizational skills. The ability to interact with various levels of staff professionally. The ability to handle stressful situations with physicians / surgeons / patients with a calm demeanor.

Salary Range: $35/hr - $40/hr
