About This Role
Our team’s focus is managing the patient’s identity within the healthcare system and ensuring they have access to their medical records when they need them. We prioritize security and simplicity to remove barriers while interacting with the health system without compromising the security of their health records.
We are looking for a strong leader to build and grow a team that will help expand our existing Identity team into a new geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage an Agile software development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment and provide opportunities for team members to grow and develop in their careers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and drive the team's roadmap, aligning team goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure that team deliverables are met on time and to a high standard and provide regular updates to stakeholders on team progress.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team and ensure that all team members are following industry standard best practice.
  • Continuously monitor and improve team processes and workflows to ensure that the team is operating efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
· Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
· Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
· Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a focus on agile development and continuous delivery.
· Experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and SAML specifications.
· Experience with electronic health record systems.
· Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Flux
· Experience with Typescript/JavaScript, NodeJS and React.
· Experience with building services that maintain a high-level of reliability and scale.

The pay range for this role is:
160,000 - 230,000 CAD per year(Remote - Canada)
150,000 - 171,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
