Activities Director in Buffalo, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Activities Director.

Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134-bed long-term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34-bed memory care unit, as well as a 16-bed high-functioning memory care unit. These units meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day will include: Provides appropriate activity opportunities to each resident; develops, implements, and enforces activity policies and procedures; supervises volunteers and students assigned to the Activity Department; maintains spending within the activity budget; maintains all required activity documentation on residents; sets an example to staff and other employees by professional attitude.

The position is Full Time, Days 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field

Experience: NA

Skills: NA

Licensure/Certification: Certified Activity Director or Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist
