POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Negotiates, analyzes, communications, recommendations, and implementation of assigned third-party payer contracts across multiple hospital campuses and associated medical groups.
• Establishing and overseeing efficient and effective programs for contract document review and management, the Manager ensures all contract documents are assessed annually and updated as needed for compliance and adherence to policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience negotiating and/or implementing commercial and governmental health plan contracts, with a strong focus on best practices
• Strong knowledge of the Texas Medicaid system (traditional and managed care), Medicare (traditional and managed care), and commercial health insurance.
• Strong leadership skills with progressively responsible experience in payer contracting, contract implementation, and/or revenue cycle support.
• Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and data analysis tools
