Leapstart After School is committed to excellence in after-school education. Located in Cupertino, CA, we are in search of experienced and dedicated teachers to join our dynamic team. Our focus is on individuals who are deeply passionate about working with children, possess a robust understanding of children's developmental stages, and are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our TK-5th grade students during after-school hours.

What You'll Do:

• Guide & Support: Oversee homework, ensuring every child feels confident in their learning.
• Build Relationships: Be the bridge between parents, students, and staff.
• Safety First: Maintain a secure learning environment, always.
• Team Player: Embrace flexibility and cooperation.
• Stay Prepared: From emergency procedures to daily routines, always be ready.
• Care & Nurture: Teach children self-care and cleanliness.
• Stay Organized: Keep materials in check and perform daily housekeeping duties.
• Nutrition Matters: Assist in preparing healthy snacks and lunches.

What We Need From You:

• Experience with elementary-aged children.
• Understanding of children's developmental stages.
• A calm, patient demeanor.
• Stellar communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive and pick up children (preferred).
• Background and fingerprinting check.
• Medical/TB exam and required vaccinations.
• 18 years or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• 12+ ECE units (preferred).
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Hindi is a bonus!
