Assembly Technician at Lyles Services Co. – Sacramento, California

Job Purpose

This position will perform a series of wire preparations, assembly and integration on all products currently produced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• The primary responsibility will be to build electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies to meet project specifications and design criteria.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures per order requirements.
• Achieve qualification to build greater than 75% of the assemblies on the training matrix.
• Comply with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Report problems with material, processes, equipment, schematics and bill of materials to Production Lead.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Position requires the ability to work overtime.
• Ad hoc activities as requested.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• Able to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Able to read and interpret schematics/blueprints.
• Able to perform continuity check via the use of digital volt meters.
• Mechanical skills required, including using hand tools and measurement devices.
• Possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate a passion for attention to detail.
