Exciting opportunity as Kitchen Help / Cook at The Edge in Fredericksburg Texas. Texas's Largest luxury tasting room and event venue is peacefully nestled along the Pedernales River. It is secluded on 140 acres just east of Main Street along the 290 Wine Trail. The Edge offers a private getaway to embrace the outdoors without sacrificing the downtown convenience.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Ensure each guest receives his or her food timely manner.
• Ensure each item is made in accordance with recipe specs (proper presentation, proper condiments, et al).
• Properly follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times when working in order to meet local health code standards.
• Arrive on time for your scheduled shift or follow proper call-out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers to resolve any guest issues.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the Kitchen and Prep Kitchen (Including doing dishes and prep).
• Assist in other areas of the building, as necessary.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Pay starting at $18.00/hour - Raise given after 60 day performance review
• Potential for upward mobility within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 6 months restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Possess a current Food Certification and current city/state Food Handlers certificate from an approved course provider.
• Ability to stand, crouch and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work 8-10 hours shifts as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills necessary.
