Duties

• Sets up plasma collection equipment
• Performs phlebotomy on new and returning donors
• Monitors the safety and care of donors during the plasma pheresis process.
• Creates a positive donor experience to encourage return donations
• Ensures donor health and safety during donation process
• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual calibrations on equipment used for plasma collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification and experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Computer literate
• Performs work while standing
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
