Software Engineer Senior in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland at RSC2

RSC2 is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team in Aberdeen to support our SAI contract!

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team providing design, architecture, development, implementation, and documentation accomplishment for systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PD SAI systems.
• Participate and assist in the coordination of the systems engineering integrated product team and other technical forums at the PD SAI and subordinate agency level.
• Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
• Apply expert technical knowledge in software architecture and capabilities in support of transformation of the Army initiatives and the fielding of digitized information infrastructures to the active and reserve components, including: analysis of user requirements, preparation of plans and associated documentation, conducting test and demonstration events, multi-organization coordination, performing risk assessments, and executing similar activities relevant to systems engineering and integration.

Requirements:

• Active TS clearance level.
• Master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• A minimum of eight (8) years related experience.
• Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level (i.e. 4 ADDITIONAL years in lieu of a Master’s/8 ADDITIONAL years if no degree.

Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $95,000 to $150,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position.
