Job Description
Insurance Specialist
Per Request Needed, Flexible Schedule due to Remote Work
Starting rate of pay is $35.00 per hour
The Insurance Specialist will assist patients in getting their medical information to insurance companies, or their contracted vendors to ensure insurance claims are processed effectively and timely for hospital admissions and outpatient procedures. Will review and work any insurance denials that are received to correct claims and refile.
General knowledge of medical terminology, Medicare, Medicaid, I.H.S., and third-party billing is essential.
