Building Maintenance /HVAC Experience in Oradell, New Jersey at Sovereign Health System

About the Role:

As a Property Maintenance Technician your main responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the properties within our corporate portfolio. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our tenants and employees. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, and addressing any maintenance issues that may arise. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid and unrestricted Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a corporate property management setting.
• Knowledge of energy management systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing routine maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and address any issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, inspecting electrical systems, and checking for leaks or damages.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
