Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is to ensure equipment and machinery runs as its' intentions to ensure production is running as planned to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
- Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment required to meet production needs.
- Install services and repairs electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
- Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
- Replace fuses, light bulbs and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
- Disassemble and reassemble slicing and packaging equipment.
- Ability and willingness to assist in training.
- Resolve problems while providing innovative solutions.
- Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
- Maintain records and prepare reports related to the work regarding equipment, supplies and materials.
- Prepare written reports on projects and equipment conditions.
- Responsible for checking pneumatic systems and controls.
- Will be required to learn how to weld.
- Able to drive any PIT equipment.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Understand and repair industrial electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Plumbing, Hydraulic, Boilers and Oven systems.
- Assists in disassembling/reassembling process and packaging equipment.
Pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
