Staff Accountant at Sandis – Roseville, California

Sandis is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Roseville. This role supports General Ledger entries, end-of-the-month closing, and Payroll. Responsibilities:

• Full cycle Payroll (Bi-weekly) for ~130 people, including:
  1. Time imports from timesheets, field tags, and project management software
  2. Union Fringe benefits administration
  3. Submit certified payrolls per client requirements.
• Full Cycle Accounting, including:
  1. Client collections and communication
  2. Accounts Payable
  3. Journal Entries and Reconciliation of accounts
• Generating ad hoc reports or research special requests from clients, vendors, HR, and Management
• Coordinate with Project Accountant as needed on Sandis invoicing

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or higher
• 2+ years of related accounting experience, preferably in (AEC) industry
• Prior payroll experience strongly preferred, including experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Accounting Software experience (Ajera preferred)
• Ability to enter data fast and accurately, and strong knowledge of Excel (test to be administered)
• Previous use of Google Sheets in a work environment preferred
