Gymnastics Head Coach, Xcel Team in Santa Barbara at Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara GIGSB

The Head Coach is responsible for coaching and managing the Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara's Gymnastics Xcel Program in a manner that reflects the mission, values, and goals of Girls Inc., and maintains an outstanding, customer-centric model that ensures enrollment, impact, and organizational objectives are met. Must have availability to work evenings and weekends, as well as the ability to travel across Southern California during the competition season.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree education, psychology, sociology or similar social sciences and/ or a minimum of 5 years' experience working with children in the gymnastics field.
• Experience creating and implementing a progressive gymnastics curriculum that takes into consideration the needs of the surrounding neighborhood, staff experience, and management philosophy.
• Clean criminal record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screening
• Proof of vaccination per licensing requirements (Pertussis and Measles immunization. Flu vaccine recommended, but optional)
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication skills and ability and desire to work as a member of a diverse and dynamic team
