This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Growth Account Manager based in India.
This role is focused on driving revenue expansion within existing customer accounts and inbound opportunities in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle for upsell and cross-sell motions, turning qualified leads into measurable revenue growth. The position sits within a dedicated growth-focused team, working closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance to unlock account expansion opportunities. You will operate in a highly data-driven, quota-carrying environment where performance, speed, and precision directly impact business outcomes. This is a commercially strategic role where you will engage with decision-makers at multiple levels, from operational managers to senior executives. The environment is dynamic and results-oriented, requiring strong ownership and consistent execution. Your success will be defined by your ability to identify whitespace, close deals efficiently, and scale MRR across a portfolio of accounts.
You will be responsible for driving upsell, cross-sell, and expansion revenue across a defined portfolio of existing customers and inbound opportunities. This includes full ownership of the commercial pipeline, from qualification through negotiation and close.
- Own and deliver against a defined upsell and expansion quota across assigned customer accounts and inbound opportunities
- Drive MRR growth through cross-sell, upsell, and conversion of marketing, demo, trial, and inbound leads
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy, high-conversion pipeline with strong forecasting discipline
- Conduct structured discovery conversations to identify customer needs and expansion opportunities
- Lead pricing discussions, solution positioning, and commercial negotiations within defined guidelines
- Identify whitespace opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into revenue growth
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance to ensure seamless deal execution
- Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting consistency
- Provide structured feedback on lead quality, objections, and process improvements to optimize growth motions
This role requires strong SaaS sales expertise with a proven track record in expansion-driven revenue generation, account management, and quota ownership.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, account expansion, partnerships, or revenue-focused roles
- Proven success in upsell, cross-sell, or expansion-led revenue generation in quota-carrying environments
- Experience managing inbound, marketing-sourced, and sales-assisted opportunities
- Strong ability to own the full sales cycle from discovery to close
- Excellent value-based selling, negotiation, and deal execution skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including executives
- Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments (marketplace experience is a plus)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional alignment skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
