Warehouse Director in Cinnaminson, New Jersey at Forman Mills Inc

SWFM Retail Group, LLC is seeking Retail Warehouse Director who oversees the day-to-day operations on-site located in Cinnaminson, NJ of our fulfillment center's storage and distribution area, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and fulfillment of inventory. This role balances active staff management, inventory control, and supply-chain logistics to support an scaling off price retail business. This position reports to the CEO/Owner.
Key Qualifications:
• Uses understanding of the larger supply chain network to run and drive end to end Distribution Center and business objectives.
• Develops and implements appropriate plans to achieve optimal productivity by the team.
• Recommends and implements process improvements for the supply chain
• Ensures compliance with all safety and HR policies for the Distribution Center
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational and business skills.
• Computer skills with Retail managements systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and dynamically engage the distribution team to meet processing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, reconcile data with warehouse management systems (WMS), and execute cycle counts.
• Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate truck arrivals, oversee unloading, and ensure proper storage.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, motivate and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain productivity targets.
• Safety & Security: Enforce health and safety protocols and secure company assets.
• Partnership: Collaborate with CEO, CFO, VP of Planning/ Allocations, VP of Merchandising, VP of Store Operations and other members of management to achieve the company’s financial and business objectives.
Key Requirements
• Education & Experience: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, with 5-7 years of supervisory or supply chain experience.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift-up to (50lbs) to (80lbs) and stand for extended periods.
