Job Description
The Product Manager – Custom Flexible Films is responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined product category, with a primary focus on opportunity creation, accelerating time to solution, and enabling scalable commercial success. This role acts as the central point of alignment between sales, suppliers, and technical resources to deliver value-based solutions that expand market share and deepen customer engagement.
This position requires strong commercial acumen, technical understanding of applications, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities
· Primary Focus: Drive category growth by actively supporting Sales Representatives in identifying, developing, and closing opportunities through direct engagement with customers and internal teams.
· Opportunity Creation: Partner with the sales force to identify new applications, uncover customer needs, and build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
· Solution Development: Lead the process of recommending optimal product solutions, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, technical feasibility, and profitability targets.
· Sales Enablement: Train and support the sales team on category-specific products, applications, and value-based selling strategies to improve win rates and adoption.
· Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with strategic suppliers to align growth initiatives, resolve product challenges, and ensure consistent execution in the market.
· Pricing & Profitability: Support the development and execution of pricing strategies that align with value-based selling principles and margin expectations.
· Strategic Account Growth: Focus on expanding category penetration within key accounts by identifying new applications, increasing share of wallet, and delivering measurable value.
· Market Intelligence: Gather and share insights into market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy and decision-making.
· Performance Tracking: Monitor and drive key performance indicators including revenue growth, pipeline development, win rates, and time to solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience B2B or B2C sales experience required
- Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. CRM and data analytics tools preferred
