About Corazón

CPLC Corazón is a client-centered center with bilingual staff where all cultures are welcome and celebrated. We have been providing Substance Abuse treatment through our CARF Accredited Level II Residential Treatment Center since 1983. The 30- to 60-day structured treatment program incorporates best practices targeted to the clients enrolled in the program. CPLC Corazón features a range of substance abuse services, including group, individual, family, and couples therapy, in addition to nightly community 12-step support groups. Our 65-bed, ADA compliant residential facility provides all meals, an on-site laundry facility free of charge, a basketball court, and a garden. We offer holistic health techniques including yoga, tai chi, chi gong, and sweat lodge.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will provide administrative and operational support by answering telephones, processing progress notes pertaining to transportation, scheduling and confirming appointments. This role contributes to high-quality of care at Corazón, ensuring clients and visitors are welcomed, informed, and connected to the services they need.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Background:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6-12 months of experience as a receptionist, administrative support/customer service experience required.
  • Experience working in a medical or behavioral setting preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required. Those assigned to provide services in Spanish and English must be able to speak, read, write, and understand both languages at a professional level to communicate Spanish-speaking clients and partners.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all required pre‑employment screenings and subject to credentialing checks to maintain compliance with licensing and contractual requirements.

  • Central Registry Check: Employment in this position is contingent upon passing a Central Registry check, as required by state regulations or program standards for working with vulnerable populations
  • Pre‑employment medical clearance, including physical exam to confirm ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Drug screening in compliance with company policy and applicable state law.
  • Required immunizations or proof of vaccination, if mandated by state regulations, licensing bodies, or program requirements, including clearance from Tuberculosis (TB).
  • Criminal history background check meeting applicable state, federal, licensing, or program standards.
  • Candidates may also be required to complete additional screenings or provide documentation as necessary to comply with funding, licensing, contractual, or regulatory obligations
